Inclusive Indianapolis photographer
I’m Jas - a soft, queer, neurodivergent, curious soul.
My passion for people allows for this space to be inclusive, gentle, and warm. I want our time together to feel like a space where you can show up for yourself instead of showing up for me. I want you to feel seen and our time to feel valued. I’m all about rediscovering self, embracing the unknown & the preservation of our individual story.
I am here to help facilitate the visual preservation of your life, your journey, your legacy.
Values Statement:
I believe everyone is deserving of representative storytelling imagery where they are seen & celebrated authentically, for generations to come. I am working towards equitable representation in my own work at all times.
My business is pro-LGBTQIA+, anti-racist, pro-immigration, fat-liberating, & anti-ableist. I am committed to learning & unlearning.
I wish to acknowledge and honor the Indigenous communities native to this region.
The land I create on in Indiana was built on Indigenous homelands & resources. This land was taken by force through colonization, a product of white supremacy. I recognize the the myaamiaki, Lënape, Bodwéwadmik, and saawanwa nations as past, present, and future caretakers of this land.
I am committed to ensuring my work financially accessible by offering sliding scale mini sessions annually, a trades of service program year round, & aiming for annual pay-what-you-can community fundraisers!

My focus is in curiosity. In your humanness, in expression, in the moment. I approach every session with a drive to authentically document our shared time & who you are at your core. This isn't old yearbook photos or stiff family pics, it's your legacy.

Brit (they/them) is my amazing wife, assistant photographer & the best admin one could ask for. Our home is filled with lots of laughter, crafts, yummy food, three pretty kitties, & a super goofy dog. We got married in Oct. '23 surrounded by our closest.

Self-care was never my thing until I went through burnout. 10 years in the business has me focusing on my client experience being a supportive system for all of us. With session guides & set email days - I've got you covered.
