Hey there, I’m Jasmine (she/her). My passion for people allows for this space to be inclusive, gentle, and warm. I approach weddings with a focus capture the essence of all that each unique story tells. I am looking forward to hearing about all the special moments you're thinking up & planning! My clients are those who aim to be in the moment on a day that feels all too fleeting. Getting to document this moment in your life & capture the love you two hold for one another is a great honor and joy for me. Meet Brit! Brit (they/them) is my assistant photographer at Jasmine Tafoya Photo! They’re friendly and funny, and manage my equipment, will hold your bag or secure the items in your pockets, and keep an eye out for the details– like trash in the background or other little things. I find having an assistant on wedding days to manage these tasks, capture an additional POV, and be an extra set of hands allows me to focus more on my clients and the space we’re sharing, the art we’re creating, and the moments we are capturing. Brit is also my incredible wife!

.01 Engagement Session
All my packages include a complimentary 60-90 minute engagement session– and here's why I believe in it's part of the process:
They're a little (a lot) less busy than the bustling wedding day. It gives us time to get to know each other with no pressure or wedding timeline to stick to. Engagement sessions are an amazing way to overcome some of the anxiety that may come with being in front of the camera and a great way for me to learn about both of your personalities and how to best capture them. You'll get a feel for what it's like to be yourselves while a camera is moving around you & a feel for my style of photography, while I'll learn about what makes your love it's own unique expression. Whether you're serious or spunky, silly or artsy, laid back or playful, learning more about the way you two interact with each other & the camera will help me tell your story on your wedding day the way it deserves to be told. I really like to encourage couples to pick a location/activity that feels most normal or fun to you. Go ahead and make it date if ya want.
*Engagement sessions are complimentary & hold no monetary value to package pricing. If clients decide to forgo an engagement session, there is no option of a discount.

YOUR MEMORIES / Digital Files
Every package of mine includes the ability to download high-resolution images from your engagement session + wedding day! I always recommend downloading & backing your images up for your personal safekeeping.
Your gallery will be complete with joyful & candid moments from the day, authentic portraits of your love, and one of a kind moments we could have never anticipated because each wedding day is so unique. All images will be delivered in color and in black & white.
Professional prints & albums can be purchased right from your gallery upon delivery. I am working towards offering custom designed luxury albums.
Al la Carte
Film Photography (polaroid, 35mm film, flash cameras) can be added onto any JTP photography package for a nostalgic feel added into your complete gallery. All images will be scanned in for digital copies. Inquire for more information!
- $50 Polaroid Add-On: 20 minimum guaranteed polaroids
- $100 Single Roll 35mm or Flash Film Add On: 24 minimum guaranteed film images
- $150 Assorted Film Add On: 40 minimum Guaranteed Film Images based on documentary aspects chosen by photographer.
If desired, additional coverage can be added onto the highest offered package in your category for $600/hr. This could look like more day of coverage, rehearsal dinner, day after brunch, nearlywed parties, showers, additional engagement sessions, or day after portraits.

I want my couples to feel in the know and confident about their package choice, and I'm always down to send over a couple old timelines to understand packages and answer all the questions.
Once you're ready to book, we’ll get the ball rolling. We’ll talk through the contract, start planning your engagement session, and sort out the details of your wedding day– this can be done via email or over the phone, whatever works best for you two and your brains. A signed contract + 33% retainer is required to hold your date (payment plans are available - just ask), and then you’ll officially be on the Jasmine Tafoya Photo calendar!
If you need help at any point throughout your planning process, whether it’s bouncing around fun wedding wear ideas, choosing vendors that reflect your values (I got recs!), or just a little encouragement to do things your way, I’m always available to connect.
